This isn't actually on the avatar list, and it's about fifty by fifty pixels too big (like I care about that) but LOOKY, CORELDRAW MAKES ANIMASHUNSS! X3 Timing's a little off, but I'm not used to the feature.

X3 Timing's a little off, but I'm not used to the feature. Sweet! ^_^ Corel Draw is something i am looking into later lol. I like my PSP X but it never hurts to have a couple extra programs to experiment with too lol. Sweet that it has an animation feature! And the icon still turned out great even if you say teh timing's off

XD But they have to wait-- I have to get ahead on the comic and at least try to get as much work done as possible on your book cover this week-- I don't know yet how much time I'll have when school starts.
(Still bugging Dad for a new compy so I can have the one I'm using right now in my room-- I think the plans got derailed momentarily...)

Luckily, you may even have through February... ^_^" I ran late on my deadline and am not exactly finished with the novel yet lol. And my editor... is well... not editing so now I have to try to go through and work out the grammar errors and such on my own- fun fun... Isn't that how plans almost always go? Make them and something always happens to get in the way lol...

I'm still going to try and get it done earlier than that; it was bad enough last semester trying to get only the comic done and my art class stuff, and while I don't have an art class this semester (can't stand the teacher) and mostly have easier classes (if you can count art history, same teacher as for art) I'm still going to have to get better at managing my time.
Right now I'm getting started on Friday's comic, though.

XP Yes, it is something I think a lot of people need to work on from time to time, myself included lol

XD Same teacher, but at least I won't have him for two classes this time, and I can actually draw the kinds of things I WANT in art history (while taking notes, of course...)(shifty look)

Hmm... Avie needs to go a little smoother. Can you fade one frame into the other? With Photoshop, I usually have at least three frames just for a transition. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to do things when my school starts back, too... I know that I didn't have much free time this last semester, and I even had a Creative Writing class where I could write anything I wanted, even fanfiction, and I didn't have enough time to write any. This time, I'm taking several easy classes again, and hopefully I'll be able to better manage my time this time. I'm exploring stuff right now to try to find a major and minor. Last thing I thought of was a Creative Writing minor and Math major, but I haven't actually had any classes that would go with a Math major. I keep putting Calculus off... <_< I would have taken it first, possibly, if I didn't mess up and get too low on the ACT test the last time I took it. I was going to take Calculus this upcoming semester, but my dad talked me out of it, since he didn't want to drive me to college and back five days in a row. I'm thinking that a math major might just be over my head. I just missed out on taking a Calculus class in High School, and again in college - twice. (You'd think they'd let you take pre-calculus and calculus during the same year in High School. <_< Five math classes during the whole time in High School. - I should have tried asking if it were possible to take extra classes during summer or something.) I took one Art class in College so far, but... I didn't really like it all that well. A lot of experimenting with patterns and media. I might take a drawing class sometime, if I can figure out for sure that it isn't the one with the nude posing... Art History, or any history for that matter, has never been my favorite subject, so the closest thing I'm considering for Art would be a Visual Art minor.

I'm considering a minor in art and a major in english, partly because I like the English teachers better and because one of the art teachers I DO like agreed that strong writing is more important for someone doing both writing and art for comics.

I like writing stories and things, but I don't like things like OERs, so I doubt I'd get a English major. I can't really find any one thing that I like fully enough to make a major... I mean, there's several minors I would be okay with, but, like the creative writing minor or visual art minor, doing the major instead would involve a lot more then writing creatively or drawing. The art major has all this sculpture and stuff, and the writing as stuff like 1800 literature. There’s also some stuff like the Elements of Production class I’m taking this upcoming semester, which I already have the book for. It deals with things like camera angles and types of microphones, which would go along with things for TV. But I’m not interested in the whole major, though, which would also involve journalism and things like that. It’s like, I know what I’d like to do, and my college has what I want to do, but in ten or more different areas... I got a big packet from a art college in Georgia before I graduated from High School, and that really did look interesting, with classes about comics, animation, filming, and tons of other entertainment related things like that. But if I try to find anything like that at my college (the one closest and the one that would take me without any type of transcript), then they have the Creative Writing minor, Visual Art minor, and things like that. I guess that one thing I was thinking about doing was a computer programming thing. I'm taking the intro class this time. I'm thinking, though, that it was the one who's major is very specific and requires several classes I didn't take... so if I do that, then I'd have to go more then four years. I'm thinking about just trying the University Studies route... like, not having a major, and just take whatever I want...
(looks at title of thread. Avatars.) Hmm... Maybe I should quit talking about this here.
